MacaMex Supersized Snakeskin - XL protective cover for fabric hammocks 400 x 21 cm

The MacaMex Snakeskin is called supersized because it is longer and wider than conventional sleeves made primarily for outdoor hammocks, which are significantly shorter. With a length of 4 meters you can even put the Supersized Snakeskin over the extra large Brazilian or Mexican hammocks. A sleeve, however, is not just a hammock weather cover that protects the hammock against rain and dirt. The MacaMex Snakeskin is also good for storing the hammock. These are often stored in garden sheds, sheds or garages. But not only dry storage is important, but also protection from mice or pets.

The MacaMex Snakeskin is simply pulled over the hammock and fastened at the ends with the pull cords. When you want to use the hammock, you don't have to take off the protective cover. The rain protection of a water column of PU3000 is equivalent to that of most rain jackets. This means the protective cover will keep your hammock dry during a short, light rain shower. In case of a heavy rainfall or longer lasting rain, the sleeve must be removed afterwards and the hammock dried. The best way is to stretch it in the sun, in the air, with a wooden handle, for example, in the side.
