Amazonas Carioca Azul family hammock

The name of this hammock is to indicate its origin from Brazil: \"Carioca\" is actually the name for the inhabitants of Rio de Janeiro. The blue Carioca Azul from Amazonas is a particularly wide hammock with a particularly elaborate pattern. Special looms are needed to make it. With a width of 1.75 meters, the hammock offers enough space for a family with two children and two adults or for three adults. The weaving technique used in its manufacture is called \"Jacquard\". This technique allows on the one hand very complex and on the other hand very large patterns. The high number of threads used in the weaving process ensures a soft and yet very durable bed surface. A total of 6000 threads are woven here. For additional stability, a braided woven band is hand-woven into the ends of the hammock, which ensures that the weight load in the hammock is distributed very evenly.

The materials used in its manufacture are 15 percent polyester and 85 percent cotton. The cotton comes from recycling, so the environment is also taken into account during production.
