DD Hammocks DD Jungle hammock

The DD Jungle Hammock is, unlike the well-tried DD Hammocks, produced in a modular way. This modular design, allows the user to assemble his outdoor hammock individually according to his needs. The mosquito net and rain cover can be assembled or disassembled as desired. Depending on the season and camping location, you only take what you need and can thus keep the weight of the lightweight hammock as low as possible. DD has worked for over a year to develop this versatile hammock. Like the DD Frontline, the DD Jungle Hammock is made of breathable polyester, making it great for hot climates.

Due to the many assembly options, we recommend reading the assembly instructions carefully before first use. After that, the DD Jungle Hammock is quickly and easily assembled.

The hammock consists of three main parts:
1. the hammock with lightweight assembly ropes
2. the completely removable mosquito net
3. the waterproof tarpaulin
4. two spreader bars that make the hammock extremely spacious

If you are only traveling for one day and staying overnight once, it is sufficient to take only the hammock with the mounting cords. When camping in an area with insects, it is recommended to take the mosquito net with you and zip it on. The waterproof tarp can be used as an underlay mat under the outdoor hammock when pitching it as a tent directly on the ground or can be used as a rain canopy. This waterproof tent tarp is a lightweight alternative to a DD Tarp in light winds. However, it provides only limited rain protection in stronger winds and rain and is too small to cover additional gear and cooking utensils. So it is not a full tarp.
