The fabric of the Cacoons was originally developed for the high demands of the marine and camping industry. The idea for the drop-like shape of the hanging cove comes from nature itself. The designers were inspired by the weaver bird. This bird builds its elaborate hanging nest from flexible plant fibers. Lightly hanging from the trees, they sway in the wind and yet are extremely durable.

The cotton-polyester blend is waterproof, uv and mildew resistant. On the one hand, the material feels naturally soft and on the other hand, it offers the robustness and durability of a high-tech fabric. So this hanging cacoon can be hung outdoors as well as indoors. Cacoons are weatherproof and can withstand wind, rain and sun. They have been tested in a wide variety of environments and they hang everywhere: on the terrace, on ships, in gyms, in spas and wellness hotels, on adventure playgrounds and at home.

The assembly is simple and safe. The large hoop that gives shape to the Cacoon comes in eight individual pieces. These must be put together and inserted into the fabric. A 4 meter rope and a carabiner are supplied for assembly. The ideal assembly height for a Single Cacoon is 2.7 meters, the minimum assembly height is 2.45 meters. All around you should ideally have space of about 2.25 meters, but at least 1.6 meters. This will allow you to swing unhindered without touching furniture, walls or anything else. Cacoons can be washed cold in the washing machine or hanging with warm soapy water.
