Hich quality hammock rope with a load capacity of 240kg (if used for both sides of the hammock, it allows a load capacity of 480kg). Ideal for camping since the rope has just a weight of 16.5gr per meter.
The MacaRope 3 from MacaMex is a high quality hammock rope. Extremly tight (24 strand) polypropylen multifinament allows a minimum breaking load of 600kg. This rope can be used for a swing chair with a load capacity of 240kg. For hammocks (if used one rope per side) it allows a load capacity of up to 480kg.
Produced in Europe by a small specialized manufacturer, this rope is different than the usual hammock ropes. Hammock ropes often have more weight or are made of just 8 strand yarn - or just a 3 strand polyhemp rope. The MacaRope also suprises with it's ultralight weight. Just 16.5gr. per meter, makes this rope ideal for outdoor use.
