MacaMex Siesta Grande - Hammock stand wood extra large spruce

The Siesta Grande from MacaMex is an XL stand for hammocks with a total length of approx. 4 meters. The spruce wood comes from European forests and was processed into this quality product in Europe. The wood is impregnated and therefore weather-resistant. To make it permanently weatherproof, the wood must be regularly painted with a breathable glaze.

Hammock frame including fastening

We have drilled the ring hooks into the wood as high as possible. This is where you hang the hammock. The height of this stand means there is plenty of space below. Even the XL hammocks from Brazil and Mexico can easily sag without sitting on the ground. However, if you have a shorter hammock, between 350 and 380 cm in total length, you can also use the included chains and carabiners to mount the hammock. The fastening material, like the screws and fittings, is galvanized and weatherproof as long as it is intact.

Wood from Europe

The Siesta Grande hammock stand is made in Europe from spruce wood. The wood also comes from the European market. The large wooden arches are glued together in layers, so-called glue laminated beams. After careful processing, the wood is treated with an impregnation. With appropriate care and proper winterization, you can enjoy this MacaMex quality product for many years to come.

You are also welcome to collect the Siesta Grande directly from our warehouse. Simply state "self-collection" when placing your order and arrange a collection date with us by email or phone. With packing dimensions of approx. 198 x 15 x 35 cm, the packed frame fits in most cars with the rear seat folded down.

Weatherproof in summer and easy to store in winter

This frame is provided with an impregnation ex works. As with all garden furniture, this should be refreshed from time to time (very easy to do). Avoid standing feet in mud or moss. Persistent moisture from below will damage any wood. It is best to place the wooden stand on stone slabs or on the patio. This will keep it dry from below. If you use a cover (rain cover), it should be lashed down. However, with any tarpaulin, make sure that the frame gets air from below and does not have to spend the whole winter airtight and sweating. Wood must be able to breathe, it is a living material.
