Burn time up to 20 hours
The name Feuerhand refers to the fact that the lantern is hot-dip galvanized. An important feature of these lamps is the simple mechanism by which the glass of the lantern is raised to ignite and then extinguish the wick. A tank of petroleum or pure lamp oil is enough for a burn time of up to 20 hours. The Feuerhand is still made in Germany to this day.
