The Underblanket from Amazonas is a protection against the cold. When camping in the cold season, the travel hammock must be insulated from below. This Underquilt warms at low temperatures down to -5 degrees Celsius.
The Amazon Underquilt is a thermal protection from below. When you lie in the hammock in the cold season, especially the cold from below is the problem. No sleeping bag or blanket will help, because the material is compressed by the body weight. Therefore, when installing an underquilt or also called an underblanket, it is important to keep a small distance from the lying surface of the hammock. The air cushion that forms in between insulates.
The green Underquilt from Amazonas is suitable for outdoor hammocks with a total length of about 250 to 300 cm. The insulation keeps warm at temperatures down to minus 5 C°. The thermal protection can be combined with almost all Amazonas travel hammocks.
