Patented mechanism
With a patented mechanism, the glass protecting the flame can be raised and lowered to ignite or extinguish the lamp. The lamp is made of galvanized sheet steel. It provides light for up to 20 hours on a full tank. Only petroleum or pure lamp oil should be used as fuel; anything else would damage the lamp seals.
