Bushmen Underquilt GLOW™ -12

Unlike other hammocks, the Under-Quilt by Bushmen is not made with polyester or any other synthetic fiber .... but filled with real recycled goose down. You feel the difference. Fluffy warm, light and cuddly soft.

Bushmen wants to do something to protect the environment. Instead of plastic, the Bushmen products are packed in recycled cardboard. and the fabrics used for hammocks and tarps are also made from recycled raw materials.

Even in the case of this under-goose made of goose down, the environmental concept plays a role. The goose feathers from old pillows, sleeping bags and so on are carefully and environmentally friendly cleaned and used to fill the Bushmen Underquilt again. Unnecessary animal suffering and garbage are avoided.

The GLOW-2 underblanket offers protection against cold up to minus 12 degrees. It is 2 x 1.4 meters a full body insulation, warms from head to toe when you're in the hammock and weighs only 500 grams. Also, the pack size is .... manageable.

Two elastic cords with straps make attaching the underblanket easy under the hammock. With the tensioners you can regulate the distance of the under-hanger from the hammock with a single handgrip. H-shaped chambers ensure optimal distribution of the down, so that there are no cold spots. The outer material of the Bushmen GLOW underquilts is made of 10D ripstop nylon, breathable and DWR coated. The underquilt is reversible, one side is khaki, the other gaudy orange. In extreme temperatures you can use a GLOW underblanket as overquilt like a sleeping bag in addition to the cold protection from below.
