The Lawson Blue Ridge Tent Hammock is unlike most outdoor hammocks. The lying surface is similar to the DD Travel Bivi by DD hammocks made of waterproof nylon and can therefore be moored to the ground. The special feature of the Lawson lightweight hammock are the aluminum spreader bars that make this hammock an outdoor rod hammock. The mosquito net is fixed to the lying surface. By a double zipper that creates a large opening, you can easily get in and out of the hammock. The lying surface is stretched by the spreader bars in the width. In the mosquito net arcuate aluminum rods are introduced, which bring this in shape. So you have plenty of room in the Lawson hammock on all sides. It feels like being in a small tent.

Inside there are bags and rings to stow a book or small items and hang a flashlight, for example. Once you have made yourself comfortable in the spacious travel hammock, you can mount the small tarp over the hammock in the event of a downpour. The tarpaulin is fastened over the guylines, which are fastened by the mosquito net arch to the mounting part.
Another special feature of the Lawson outdoor hammock is the ability to alter the tightness of the bed. The knots on the spreader bars can be opened and thus the tension of the ropes can be adjusted differently.

Mounting parts NOT included. The suspension loops of the hammock allow you to use all mounting systems with or without carabiner depending on the model. Practical and tree-friendly are tree straps for which one usually additionally requires a light carabiner for hanging the hammock.
