The fabric of the Cacoons has been developed for the high requirements of the marine and camping industries. The idea for the drip shaped hanging hole comes from nature itself. The designer have been inspired by the weaver bird during a holiday in Mexico. This bird builds his nest of bendable plant fiber, wool and feathers. They dangle lightly from trees, rock in the wind and are on the other hand very sturdy.

The cotton-polyester-mixture is waterproof, uv-and mould resistant. The material is soft while achieving the longevity of a technical fabric. Thus the Cacoon can be suspended outdoors as well as indoors. Cacoons are weatherproof and resist wind, rain and sun. They have been tested in different environments and they are hanging everywhere; on terraces, ships, in sports and leisure centers, in hotels, adventure playgrounds and at home.

The mounting is easy and secure. The big ring which forms the Cacoon is delivered in parts. Put them together and slip them into the fabric. For the suspension of the hanging chair a 4 meter rope and a carabiner are part of the scope of delivery. You can fix this rope on a tree or a beam. The perfect hight to mount a Single Cacoon is 2,7 meters, the minimum should be 2,45 meters. There should be space of about 2,25 and minimum 1.6 meters around you. Thus you will be able to rock and turn yourself around without touching furniture, walls or anything else. You can wash your Cacoon cold in the washing mashine or with warm soapy water while it's hanging.
