The DD poncho is not only a leightweight poncho. Its material is very sturdy and the poncho is very big. You can use it as tarp, as ground sheet and carry a backpack under it.
The DD poncho is not a normal lightweight rain poncho. It consists of a much sturdier and more durable material than traditional ponchos. Because it is so tear-resistant and is extremely water repellent, the DD poncho can also be used as a rain tarp or ground surface. Five press studs on each side and two on each arm
make the rainfly a poncho. The DD poncho is very large and suitable for people up to about 1.95 m height. It is long enough to carry a backpack under it.
The hood can be opened with velcro closures at the neck area. With drawcords on the hood you can tighten it or tie it up if is used as a tarp. With an opened size of 2.4m x 1.25m the DD poncho offers good rain protection and is compareable with the DD Tarp S. With a total of 8 eyelets the DD poncho can be installed in a number of different ways to provide shelter.

- To preserve the strength of the material, avoid folding along the same lines too frequently (change after 10 times)
- Store in a cool, dry, dark place
- Always ensure your gear (including any cordage) is completely dry before storing away
- Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (above 40C and below -15C)
- Please keep your tarp a safe distance from fires and naked flames at all times.
- Do not machine wash. Clean carefully by hand only, using lukewarm water
- Prolonged exposure to strong UV light can cause material to weaken
- Ensure the area around the product is kept free of hazards
- Children should be supervised when using this product
- If tent line tensioners are included with the product, please use these or similar ones of the same design. Please do not secure a tarp with an inelastic knot. Strong gusts of wind can otherwise damage a tarp.
