The small hammock roof of DD - due to its low weight and pack mass ideal as additional equipment for camping or biking.
The Tarp S of DD hammocks in coyote brown weighs only 450 grams without mounting hardware (4 pegs and guy ropes) and can be mounted over a Travel Bivi fixed to the ground due to its small size. Also, the small waterproof tent tarp provides good rain protection to sit under during a short rest or as a ground sheet against moisture from below.
The DD Hammock Tarp Solo Coyote Brown is the alternative to the well-known olive green Tarp S. Please note that the 2013 version is even smaller (instead of 180cm now 150cm). This rain canopy is intended for use where weight and space are the most important factors. It is also often used as a protection for additional equipment or as a waterproof carpet pad. Coyote Brown is often used as an alternative to CAMO Tarps.
This tarp weighs only 450gr. and has a size of 280 x 150 cm. The 19 fixation points allow for a variety of roof shapes and mounting options. Like all DD Tarps, the Solo Tarp is made of strong nylon which withstands at least a water column of PU3000. All seams have been heat sealed with tape. This makes DD Tarps extremely waterproof and durable
