The small hammock roof from DD Hammocks is ideal as additional equipment for camping or biking due to its low weight and pack size. The DD Tarp S with a size of 280 x 150 cm and a weight of 490 grams (without pegs and guy ropes) is 100% waterproof and protects against rain during a rest or as a shelter. The small rain cover can also be used as a groundsheet.
The DD Hammock Tarp Solo is the lightest and most compact of the DD Tarps. This rain canopy is designed for applications where weight and space play an important role. This tarp is also often used as protection for additional equipment or as a waterproof base.
This tarp weighs just 490 grams and measures 280 x 150 cm. The 19 fixing points allow a variety of roof shapes and mounting options. Like all DD Tarps, the Solo Tarp is made of strong nylon which can withstand a water column of at least PU3000. All seams are heat-sealed with adhesive tape. This makes DD Tarps extremely waterproof and durable
Please note that for comfortable camping we always recommend the Standard Tarp with 300 x 300 cm, the DD Tarp XL with 450 x 300 cm or the 4 x 4 m rain cover. Due to their size, these tarps offer better protection from the rain (for example in windy areas where the wind can sometimes whip the rain into the hammock from the side). The small Solo Tarp is very well suited as an additional tarp for equipment, as wind protection or as a groundsheet. As the tarp has a width of 180 cm, it is suitable for hammocks if you do not expect rain to come from the side. However, the smaller size brings a significant advantage in terms of weight and pack size!

- To preserve the strength of the material, avoid folding along the same lines too frequently (change after 10 times)
- Store in a cool, dry, dark place
- Always ensure your gear (including any cordage) is completely dry before storing away
- Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures (above 40C and below -15C)
- Please keep your tarp a safe distance from fires and naked flames at all times.
- Do not machine wash. Clean carefully by hand only, using lukewarm water
- Prolonged exposure to strong UV light can cause material to weaken
- Ensure the area around the product is kept free of hazards
- Children should be supervised when using this product
- If tent line tensioners are included with the product, please use these or similar ones of the same design. Please do not secure a tarp with an inelastic knot. Strong gusts of wind can otherwise damage a tarp.
