The HOT Tarp™ 4×3 Cotton is a 12 m² technical cotton tarp with a built-in chimney opening that offers you maximum versatility outdoors. It's perfect for creating extra shelter outside your tent or 4×4 vehicle, so you can cook and eat in comfort whatever the weather, even when sparks are flying.

For bushcraft enthusiasts, it's the perfect combination of traditional tarp craftsmanship and the practical extension of an outdoor kitchen - similar to the classic 3×3 tarp, but with an extra surface area!

HOT Tarp Cotton - Key features

Fireplace opening

The tarp is fully compatible with portable stoves. The chimney opening is made of fireproof material that can withstand temperatures of up to 800°C. A star-shaped cut ensures that the chimney stays securely in place while preventing rain from entering. The opening fits most stovepipes on the market with diameters between 4 and 8 cm.

A loop under the opening and a stabilizing rope (included) keep everything in place. When the chimney is not in use, the opening can be covered with a Velcro flap to protect the tarp from weather conditions.

Attention: The chimney opening may deform slightly under high heat, which is a natural process and does not affect the safety of the product.

Technical cotton fabric

The HOT Tarp Cotton is made from tightly woven technical cotton fabric (BreDre 220g/m²) and offers numerous advantages. It is far more resistant to sparks and flames than most synthetic materials, making this tarp safer for use around campfires.

The breathable fabric reduces condensation inside, ensuring a dry and comfortable shelter. The water repellent properties of the fabric are enhanced by a DWR coating and the natural swelling of the cotton fibers when wet, creating a tight seal against rain. This combination eliminates the need for additional seam sealants.

Note: Although technical cotton fabric is highly spark resistant, it is not flame retardant. Avoid contact with hot surfaces such as ovens to prevent damage to the tarp. Always keep a safe distance between the tarp and heat sources.

Transport bag

You'll find that a family member will love using this bag for everyday use! It's stylish and practical and the coconut button for strap adjustment gives it a unique touch. The outer Velcro pocket is roomy and offers space to organize your accessories.

The adjustable shoulder strap can be attached to either the top or bottom loops, depending on whether you want to carry the bag vertically or horizontally. The double handles along the length of the bag make it easy to maneuver or attach to larger luggage.

• A spacious and comfortable bag with shoulder strap and external pocket for easy transport and organization of the tarp and accessories.
• A set of 6 guy ropes with tensioning system. These 5 mm thick, 3 meter long ropes are equipped with an aluminum tensioning system that makes setup quick and easy and ensures stability in all conditions.
• 6 Y pegs that can be securely anchored in all types of terrain, even in soft ground. The orange aluminum accents match the brown ropes and tarp details and are easily visible on the ground.
• 10 meters of 5 mm rope, because you can never have enough. This can be used as a ridge line for the tarp, additional guy lines, prusiks or other camping purposes.
